| How to use the Emergency Gas Shut-off Tool after major emergency or natural disaster: |
| 1. Remove reusable tie by squeezing tab or use wrench to twist tie until it breaks. 2. Use the Emergency Gas Shut-Off Tool to turn the main gas shut-off valve (only if you detect a gas leak) to "OFF" position by turning 1/4 of a turn. 3. When you are ready to restore your gas service, call the gas company or a qualified plumber to turn it back on for you. |
