Flamecheck M-111PA does not change the sheen or color when added to paint.*
Flamecheck M-111PA (paint additive) passes ASTM E-84 with Zero Flame Spread and Zero Smoke over a non-flammable substrate with a “Class A” finish.
Note: Flamecheck M-111PA does NOT alter the flammability class of the substrate being painted. It does add a fire-retardant treatment that inhibits and slows the spread of fire along the surface.

Extra Fire Protection: Treat flammable substrates (if porous) with original Flamecheck M-111 and allow to dry before applying paint containing fire retardant additive.
* Flamecheck M-111PA is compatible with most latex and acrylic water-based paints. The manufacturer suggests performing a sample test of the paint mixed with additive prior to application. If the sample thickens or curdles, do not use. Some metallic paints treated with Flamecheck M-111PA may change color weeks after application. Always test a small area with the treated paint prior to usage.
